National Award winner Rituparno Ghosh seems to be fixated over classics. He has already started working on the remake of Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam.

After sorting out problems with John Abraham he has signed him for the character of Bhootnath in Sahib Biwi aur Ghulam and has also signed him for the character of Arjun in his next big-canvas film Draupadi.

The lead will be played by Bipasha Basu. Ghosh feels Bips' look makes her apt for the character. The film, to be shot on outdoors in Laddakh, will be revisiting Mahabharat from Draupadi's viewpoint.

The budget of the film is around 8 crores. It is expected to hit the floors in September this year. Rituparno describes it as a mixture of B R Chopra's Mahabharat and Peter Brooks' take on the Hindu epic .

The other star cast is probably from south. Considering the professional Rituparno is, we are sure he will manage all his films two Hindi and two Bangla -- very well without any hassles! Good luck to him!
